There are so many good stories from one person. That is what I have learned from talking to Marlene. Even though some of these people may be old, they represent a generation and a time that we don't readily think about. The elderly, and those older than us for that matter, have their own place in our homes and heart. They are the living past. The past tells us whom we are, where we've been and where we are going. I never tire of hearing stories, especially from my Grandma.
